Hector Villegas President & CEO Borderplex Community Capital

Hector joined the Borderplex Community Capital in September 2023. Prior to assuming this role, Hector held the position of Market Executive for PNC Bank, overseeing the El Paso Texas & Southern New Mexico region. Previously, he served as Market President for BBVA within the same geographic area. His career spans over 25 years in international banking, with focus on global corporate and investment banking. Notably, he has held significant roles with BBVA across various international locations, including a key role in expanding BBVA’s presence in the United States, while in New York City.

Hector holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration, and he has augmented his academic credentials with professional certificates from institutions like The London School of Economics and The University of Texas at Austin’s Red McCombs School of Business.
